This chilis is normally good but I don't know what happened because I went in during Labor Day weekend and I ordered a sampler and my date ordered the fajita trio. Â The fajita came out cold and had to be sent back to be warmed up and the bread on my sliders was stale. Â My date complained about the shrimp being over cooked and the steak as well was over cooked the rice had texture as if it were reheated multiple times. Â The server never came back to give me service therefore I wasn't able to ask for another drink until I was done with my entre I was thirsty the whole duration of my meal, my server only checked up on me at the very end. Â The service isn't that great and the food isn't good either. Â I was totally disappointed the only good part was the chips and guacamole.
Review Source:Had lunch today with mom and 17 month old. The lady who was our waitress was really nice and friendly (the guy helping her, though he got us what we needed was flat... no personality whatsoever!)
Mom and I did the 2 for $20... Chips n Guac ... both got Chicken Fajitas ... i'm always happy with this choice...
Ordered the Crispy Chicken Strips with French Fries for my little one... she didn't love them but didn't hate them. (I tried one and could have ate the whole basket)
Overall it was a pleasant visit.
I remember when this place opened and everyone flocked here b/c it was the only Chili's around and I guess Westchester is stupid enough to love franchise joints (gross.)
The parking lot is adequate to home enough cars which means prepare for a large wait if you want to eat here thurs-sat; anytime after five. Â I've legit waited over 30 minutes in the past but only b/c I was with ppl who INSISTED we had to stay, as if they were giving away free morning after pills with the nacho plattters and beer. Â [Otherwise I prefer New Bon accross the parking lot.]
Those who sit at or in the bar, are the pathetic type who have nothing else to do on a weekend and think they are cool b/c they are of age to drink. Â Been there and done it, I'm guilty too. Â Happy Hour I remember being pretty boss and rather cheap so what the hey.
Food is the typical freezer to oven or nuke for your caloric pleasure. Â You can also buy it from your grocers freezer and enjoy at home for your own fat night experiences. Â I used to come here at 17 and get the 2 for 1 margaritas and go home not being able to speak. Fun times but that just proves how little alcohol you are actually getting in the drinks. Â Stick with the brewskies.
If you want greasy, diner type food of the Americo-Mexi version, this is your haven. Â If you like eating with teeny boppers that are not yet old enough to drive but are bored by the malls, along with the irritating family of four that crawled out of their dungeon raised ranches...YIPPEE!!! COME TO CHILI'S!!
It's really just a "whatever" place that can suck or you might enjoy it depending on your tastes.
Simply put, it's Chili's. What that means is a run of the mill dining experience that you can get from an Applebees or TGI Fridays. This Chili's however has very good staff.
Lets start with the basics, parking lot is huge, place is cool looking and clean. Host staff is friendly and usually pretty quick. They have pagers which is a plus. Host and wait staff is very friendly, i rarely had issues with seating or getting served.
A rather noisy environment, also the brown concrete floors take away from the "cozy" factor.
The food: it is Ok for what it is, American style Mexican food. Burgers are big and greasy (good for some people bad for others). Triple Dipper Appetizer is good with wings, Mexican egg rolls and Ckn crisper.
However, i noticed the portions on things have shrunk over the few years have been going and prices are rising. Ribs have less meat, ckn crisper are smaller and so on.
The efficiency of the place and the staff are what keeps this from dipping down to a 3.
Franchise restaurant that's not much different from Applebees. Â Food isn't all that great, but it's greasy and addictive. This place is always packed, maybe cause there's really no where else for the local kids to go to. On weekends this place actually had a wait. They are kind enough to have pagers for you, but why would anyone wait to go to chilis?
