Under new management. Â New owners just opened. Â This is a family owned cafe. Â The food and staff were great. Â They only had a limited menu as they were still stocking up. Â Bacon cheese burgers were delicious. Â They have their own bacon creation called Sweet Hog Bacon, a must try. Â Dessert, a Sweet Hog Ice Cream sundae, vanilla ice cream, sweet hog bacon, topped with whip cream. Â Sounds bad, tasted really good. Â Outdoor seating on the deck, creek, mountains, fireflies, great atmosphere.
Review Source:The first thing I noticed about Chimney Corner Cafe was that there are no doors! Â So bring a sweater if it's gonna be chilly. Â The amphitheater dining experience is truly unique and worth coming for. Â We saw some great reggae which thankfully wasn't too loud. Â You could actually hear the others at your table talking, very nice. Â It was great to have music that was easy to listen to and still be able to converse. Â Nice job on that CCC!
I had a Pulled BBQ Pork sandwich. Â It was good, not great. Â The bun was weak and kinda stale even. Â The pork was good, not great. Â I doctored it up to my liking. Â The waiter was pretty bad, though friendly. Â He needs more training in proper serving skills. Â The whole staff was average, not bad, just not great. Â The y were friendly enough, just not totally on top of it.
I'd go here again if the right music was playing. Â So keep and eye on the listings and make your way to CCC for a beer and some grub with friends. Â The atmosphere is enough to ensure you'll have a good time.
