Outside dinning, with a spectacular view and a creek to provide background music. Though somewhat limited menu, the food was great. The bacon cheeseburger was excellent. I cried a "single manly tear" when it came time to leave.

Under new management.  New owners just opened.  This is a family owned cafe.  The food and staff were great.  They only had a limited menu as they were still stocking up.  Bacon cheese burgers were delicious.  They have their own bacon creation called Sweet Hog Bacon, a must try.  Dessert, a Sweet Hog Ice Cream sundae, vanilla ice cream, sweet hog bacon, topped with whip cream.  Sounds bad, tasted really good.  Outdoor seating on the deck, creek, mountains, fireflies, great atmosphere.

The first thing I noticed about Chimney Corner Cafe was that there are no doors!  So bring a sweater if it's gonna be chilly.  The amphitheater dining experience is truly unique and worth coming for.  We saw some great reggae which thankfully wasn't too loud.  You could actually hear the others at your table talking, very nice.  It was great to have music that was easy to listen to and still be able to converse.  Nice job on that CCC!

I had a Pulled BBQ Pork sandwich.  It was good, not great.  The bun was weak and kinda stale even.  The pork was good, not great.  I doctored it up to my liking.   The waiter was pretty bad, though friendly.  He needs more training in proper serving skills.  The whole staff was average, not bad, just not great.  The y were friendly enough, just not totally on top of it.

I'd go here again if the right music was playing.  So keep and eye on the listings and make your way to CCC for a beer and some grub with friends.  The atmosphere is enough to ensure you'll have a good time.

If you happen to be taking the Midland Trail through beautiful West Virginia, don't miss this totally charming eatery.  It is an open air restaurant at the intersection of Rt. 60 and W.V. State Rt. 16 very near Hawk's Nest State park.

I've been there three times over the last two years and always had excellent service.  The staff is great!  The ambiance is pure West Virginia mountain and the food ain't bad!

They have mostly good old American food with a West Virginia twist.  I have had the Fried Green Tomato BLT with Basil Mayo and it is delicious!  The sandwich is big enough to share with a friend (I didn't).  The burgers are 1/2 lb. of meat - huge!  I also have had the Eggplant sandwich which is very good.

The food is nothing to write home about, but it is good and no matter what you order there is plenty of it!

The restaurant overlooks an open air stage and on weekends and some week nights there is live music.  Last time we were there there was a good band playing.  The breezes were blowing and with the full bar, we sat and enjoyed the fresh air and greenery while we had our dinner.

Y'all, will go back if you go there one time.  It is delightful!
