Small family owned Chinese restaurant in Crestwood (behind McDonald's). Â The food is pretty good but average. Â Portions are good and prices are reasonable. Â My wife and I eat here from time to time.
She likes the General Tso's chicken and gives it good marks.. Â I'm a big fan of Hot and Sour soup. Â China King is inconsistent on the quality of their Hot and Sour soup. Â Otherwise most of the other menu items we've tried are good. Â Lo Mein, War Su Gai, Â Kung Pao Chicken, Egg Rolls, Crab Rangoon, and Fried Rice are all tasty. Â
Not a fancy place but good food, friendly staff and reasonable prices.
I usually enjoy a fast food chinese place once in a while but, this place is one of the worst. Â This is one of those go to the counter and order places. Â I ordered one of my favorites, sesame chicken lunch special. Â It came with fried rice and one egg roll, $5.35. Â What a disappointment. Â The chicken looked like little chicken nuggets from McDonalds. Â They had some kind of orange sauce poured over them and then sprinkled with a few artificial seeds. Â The fried rice consisted of carrot chunks, dried, peas that were white and dried and some kind of artificial looking white things. Â Tasteless. Â The egg roll was fair but, also had some kind of strange ingredients some of which looked like artificial bacon bits. Â There were only a few tables for customers to sit. Â One table had employees eating their lunch and another had the employees kids sitting and coloring in their coloring books. Â Needless to say I will not return.
