Service is the front end of any establishment and when you are treated rudely you should at least have some extraordinary food to make up for it.  Unfortunately all we get here is bad service and either no wings or stale wings. We have been here before and after being seated for a half hour and putting in our wing and beer orders we are broke the bad news that they are all out of wings ... Hey it happens. We return months later only to be greeted by a waitress who laughed in our faces when no one ordered alcohol for the game ... Hm odd but ok lets order some wings shall we ? We order the wings by sets of 10+ for 6 people I'm not sure if maybe the dishwasher in the back was feeling lazy but we were told all our wings would come out in one big bowl .... HUH? No I don't want to be grabbing wings where my savage friends have been grabbing wings with there spit covered fingers sorry . We were fortunate enough to all receive our wings on our own separate plates THANK GOD and a Plastic plate for the bones hmmmm ok. Wings were stale and not worth the money at all for real after all this is was just a joke that had to be laughed at.  The boneless wings are straight up Tyson bagged boneless chicken and they do not even tell you that they charge full price for these little buffalo covered turds when you order em.  Hands down one of the worst experience me and my 6 friends who went have ever had at a local bar. See ya at Southside.

I too had aterrible experience here. Our "waitress" if thats what you would call her, never came to check on us, only took our drink and food order, didnt see her for 35 minutes and all we ordered were wings.  These wings tasted like they were left over from the power outage slap some sauce on em and send em out to us.  The wings were on special .35 cents each I think it was so hey god bless they were definetly worth that price but I can not stand poor service. You guys have a restaurant seating area treat your guests the way they deserve to be.

I ordered a plate of the boneless wings just so I could laugh at it.

The owners of Southside and Northwood inn should train the Claddagh employees on how to serve customers and how to cook bar food.

Never againwill we patrionize Claddagh.  Find us at Southside/Northwood/Red Mills, hell i'd be more likely to slap on a leather jacket and head over to PJ's then come back here.

I love sports bars, I've said it before and I'll say it again. Love them. They have the most beer, the lowest prices, the biggest menus, the comfiest booths, the most laid back vibes, and if you're a TV-less sports fan like me, well they just make a lot of sense.

The Claddagh was so crucial when I found it at the end of a long day of riding. We knew that Mahopac would be the last town that we'd hit before we needed to pitch tents so we were counting on some good eats. After passing unappealing and overpriced mexican and Italian joints, the four leaf clover and dimly lit interior of the bar pulled me in like a tracktor beam.

I walk in and there are MLB posters everywhere, this place is a hardcore baseball bar, which is something that I don't come across too often - perhaps it was just that it was late June though and the other sports are all on hiatus.  Anyways, they were running super specials during MLB games which we were just in time to cash in on. I cashed in on the $0.25 wings and a $5 pitcher of Coors light, which after a day in the saddle tasted like a rustic belgian farm ale kissed by Appolo.

My riding partner ordered a medium rare stake sandwich, which came out at the perfect temperature, but for some reason didn't include a second slice of bread.  SO it was more of an open faced sandwich with no option of closing it up.  ALso the stake wasn't chopped, it was a slice of bread, with a sirloin steak on top and then onions and mushrooms smothered all over it.  Kinda awkward but it tasted great, and hey, it wasn't my order so it doesn't take away from the 5 stars which this place further deserves in no small part to the great (and very attractive) waitress who let us charge our cell phones behind the bar and brought us out all of our orders super quick.

From what I can tell this also seems like a major late night spot in the area, a sign advertised free cab rides home.

Claddagh, may your yelp rating never dip below this sterling threshhold.
