I never had a problem with this place before the new management. Â Every time we've visited, it's had the same vibe. Â Friendly people behind the bar, a nice local feel and we'd just get drinks and play pool or darts. Â Yesterday was the first time in a year we visited and we were able to bring the kiddies. Â It wasn't too busy at 5 on a Saturday evening so I didn't feel weird about letting them sit on the chairs and watching us play pool. Â I had the fish tacos. Â The fish is just frozen fish you can get from the supermarket but I've made fish tacos like that before so this isn't a complaint. Â I didn't like the slaw that came with the tacos (wet and sour). Â They should just use chopped up red cabbage and carrots and cilantro as the slaw. Â The siracha aioli was delicious but will be considered spicy to most. Â The wings were juicy, the tater tots were yummy but the mozzarella sticks tasted like the oil they fried things in. Â All in all a nice local joint.

Anyway, if you've read my last review, you'll notice that I had a *less than stellar* time here. I probably wouldn't have come back if an old friend I hadn't seen in a while hadn't asked to meet up here. I'm glad he did. The whole place just seems... brighter. Dude behind the bar was all smiling and friendly, the building as a whole seems cleaner, the cues are usable, and the prices are still friendly.
Oh, and that most grievious of sins has been rectified: The beer was delicious.
Well done new owner, well done. I'm happy to be able to come back and support a local business on the regular :)
While in Lake Tahoe, we decided to check out the local pool halls. Â After a quick search, and good reviews,we came to Classic Cue.
We were pleasantly surprised. Â Greeted by a big happy smile, hi Valerie, and great service. Â Valerie was very attentive and the burgers are absolutely incredible. Â Lot of pool halls in Sacramento, but Classic Cue will be worth the drive when needing a different venue. Â Pool table are in great shape and balanced.
Great food, great service, and very nice tables.
This place is all new, if you think you know it but have not been there recently you are probably going to be very surprised. Â The place rocks for all age groups. Â
New owners, have made it a Tahoe destination.  It has all the fun stuff for a good time out on the town.  Great food, fun games, Sports bar fun , several large T V' s, thru out the place.  Several pool tables ,  Entertainment  throughout the week,  Music , themed events, you name it this place has it going.
All in all a very cordial and fun place to hang out with your friends  !!
This place is hands-down the best burgers/billiards/beer joint in town. Â I just moved to town a few weeks ago, and when I got here my new roommate took me here because he said this is where the locals go. Â It has the cheapest beer in town, a good homey environment, and delicious burgers! Â Plus you can play some pool with all your friends! Â It is a great time. Â
One thing you have to understand about this place is that during the winter of 2011-2012 it started going downhill fast (due to the lack of snowfall, thus lack of tourists, and thus lack of revenue in the town). Â Therefore, the old owner sold it at the end of summer of 2012. Â Since then, the new owners have really turned it around. Â This also means that most of the workers are new; the cooks are great and the bartenders are extremely friendly and personable. Â The food is now amazing, and have really good prices. Â They have good burgers, dips, sandwiches, and appetizers. Â They also have good daily specials and what not. Â They have dollar fish tacos on Mondays, karaoke on Wednesdays, open mic night on Thursdays, etc. Â
In summation, this is an excellent place with cheapest prices in town. Â It is more of a locals' joint, but it is definitely a great place for tourists to go to as well!
This is my friends local pool joint. Whenever we want to go out and knock the billiards around we head out here. The staff is ultra friendly and fun. They keep the pool tables clean and ready to go for use whenever. In the back behind the bar coming in from the front door there are two beer pong tables, along with darts. Definitely a fun place to hang out!
Review Source:Happy hour all day on Sundays!! Â Lots of tables. Â Room for the 21 and over crowd fully equipped with legit beer pong tables and a couple dart boards. Â Bar tenders are friendly as can be and the jukebox isn't bad at all. Â They even serve up some late night fried foods that can hit the spot.
