Cliff's Elbow Room

My family has been going here for years upon years! Always good people, good food (especially the baked clams and steak!)

Overrated and Overpriced!!!  Hostess was rude.  Waitresses were pleasant.  Not up to the hype.  I guess nothing else out there.  Not worth a trip or another visit

We didn't come here for dinner, so I can't speak to the dining room experience.

However, we did come, unannounced, with a rather large group for drinks in the late evening, a few months ago. Since Jamesport doesn't really have much of a "going out" scene, the Elbow Room was a funny little dive bar, quirky in the best sense, and for the most part, very accommodating. We enjoyed our experience, had a lot of fun, and it was only partially soured by a waitress on a terrible bender. She yelled at my friends to get out of her way multiple times, and actually shoved one of my friends in the back at one point! CLEARLY, a bad day for her. However, I'm optimistically thinking it was a bad day for her...and not a reflection of the restaurant/bar's service in general. Our bartender was great! I would definitely go back a 2nd time, if I was in the area and looking for a fun nightcap.
