The rudest staff ever. We came here with reservations for a bachelorette party and the hostess and staff were not accommodating upon arrival and did not have a place for us to sit. When we did find a place to sit they took chairs from people in our party. This was suppose to be a pleasant experience and they were not friendly at all.
Review Source:Macari was the first stop on our vineyard tour and it was the perfect way to start the day. The grounds were beautiful and the vineyard staff was wonderful. We came as part of a tour and the Macari staff had a table set up for us upon arrival to do our tasting in private away from the main bar. After the tasting, we bought a few bottles to enjoy on the porch overlooking the grounds. Really great vineyard!
Review Source:I went here in May 2013. This place is quite nice inside and has a nice bar area for your tasting though bar stools would have been appreciated. I think the star of this place is the grounds and picnic area where you have a spectacular view of the vineyards and could just lounge about and sip your wine.
I had the Estate flight which super affordable for $6 . The Collina chardonnay was great on the first sip but on second sip it was just ok. I liked the Early wine which was chardonnay in a steel cask. And I also liked the rose and the cabernet franc. Â I didnt like the Collina merlot though.
The staff was awesome and knowledgeable. Â And it was nice that they handed out a complementary wine sorbet. I would definitely come here again because I liked the majority of the wines I sampled. Â Another tasting, a bottle of wine and a picnic on the grounds would make a perfect day.
