Gross. Smoky and smelly, just a totally grungy dive. Thought I would contract a virus from sitting on a stool. My friend and I stayed for one drink, as the only good part was that it was Ladies Night, so the first cocktail was $1. People came in dressed in pajama bottles and slippers. I got ogled by toothless men. Just. No.
Review Source:One word, TERRIBLE. Â Bartender seemed to be doing me a favor by making our drinks -- she also wasn't fond of our juke box choices and turned the music down. Â Nobody was smoking at the time; however the bar had a permanent smell of smoke that we took with us on our clothes.

i should have taken pictures at the club but come to think of it, it would be best if the club remains a mystery so only those who dare get to see what it looks like. i ended up here with my friends who are locals and told me this was the only thing to do in north conway after 10pm.
we are driving on 'the strip' and i see the club as its not hard to spot. the big sign right outside of it gives it away. it reads "club". its dark inside, theres a dj, the floors are dirty and all sorts of types of characters are here, including us. the bartender chic looked rad. i wanted to high five her from the moment i saw her. my friends drink awful beer so this round will be on me. ill go for ketel one which they have and its cheap.
went to the pool room which is also their smoking section. awful, if you dont like cigarette smoke you will hate this area. its so smoky i probably second-handed a pack by myself. but i played pool and i sucked at it, which sparked a conversation with other mediocre players around. everyone is happy and the ketel one keeps on flowing.
the dance floor is grotesque, i mean that in good spirits. if you like surreal, this is your shit. i may or may not have gotten an std or two just by dancing to three songs in here. this place doesnt care. the club is so rad even its one star reviews are awesome.
How to find the club? Drive on the main street and look for a sign in a window that has "CLUB" in big block letters. Â

Brown and Black tiled dance floor.. I think it's supposed to be white but hasn't been cleaned in awhile. Pool tables in the back. Â LMFAO look alikes. Girls crying in the bathroom. Â
Sum it all up and what do you have here? Your typical fun dive bar.
Where does one start! Â I was in nh for the holidays and stumbled upon the diamond in the rough. Â One could truly say this was a dream boat amoung dream boats. Â DJ, dancing, karaoke, a complete lack of dental care coupled with the cheapest most generous drinks I have ever purchased. Â The best part in my opinion is the fantastic people watching! Â I mean really this is the only town I have ever been to where the gay bar was also the straight bar.....who knew!?!? Â So if you are looking for the most entertaining night of your life, then I suggest "THE CLUB". Â Look for me ill probably be there!

As a former resident of the Valley, I will give it this: The Club is the only thing to do past 10pm other than light stuff on fire and/ or destroy things and/ or wreak havoc in general. HOWEVER (and this is a BIG however) it is only passable if you're TRASHED. otherwise, it's just depressing. I've been for Karaoke night which is OK. Bring a friend. and some mace. If you're like me, you'll probably have more fun destroying stuff and drinking out of a paper bag. I know this review sounds harsh. I'm opinionated.
Review Source:If you find yourself looking for nightlight and entertainment in North Conway, you'll find yourself at "The Club" - My friends and I found ourselves at Club 550 every night we were in North Conway (there aren't a whole lot of other choices after 11pm, if any at all, unless you want to count the 7-11 next door)...
They've got steel-tip dart boards and a grip of pool tables along with with plenty of seats to enjoy a beverage of choice and a good sized dancefloor...
The bartenders are hella cool and friendly, or maybe it was the inexpensive drinks that had me just a little hammered and tipping'em well... Either way, we went back night after night and had ourselves a blast at every turn!
