This place is great for shows, very intimate and adorable. Throughout my Tallahassee years I've had amazing nights in this venue. From packed wall to wall sweaty dance parties, to intimate acoustic sets, I've always had a great time here.
That being said, it's a little hard to get to since it's on campus and parking is a chore. The size, while intimate, is restricting, and popular shows sell out pretty fast. The bar is cash-only, and only sells beer (which they start to run out of at bigger shows).
I wish I could give less than one. Worst treatment I have ever had at a venue. I went in the "wrong door" and was publicly yelled at and humiliated, which was then topped off with them searching my bag...wth? Not cool. The 18 year old twits at the door need to get a grip and get over their power trip. Not going back.
Review Source:So, I drove up to this club to see a couple of touring acts, and as on campus places go, this one is pretty well done. 2 levels, a couple of seating areas, a nice stage setup, A/C that works well and good viewing from most spots in the place. The sound was good, not sure if that was due to the venue or the bands themselves.
Beer & wine at the bar, and there's a Chili's next door where you can get real drinks or have a nosh before the show (we did). Parking is in a garage about a block away. Good place to see a band or two.
