Perfect dive bar. If you don't go when squeaky frat and sorority  kids looking for a thrill are there, it's a wonderful, dark little shack with fun people and a gracious bartender, where you can either join in a game of pool with some locals or sit with a friend and talk for hours over drinks. I highly recommend this place.
Review Source:Super fun and incredibly dirty! A perfect tallahassee bar.
Don't come if ur expecting anything high class. Â The first thing you notice when stepping in the Palace is the SMELL! If you can't do 2nd hand smoke (and I mean a LOT of it) you will be miserable here. Â Otherwise its super laid back and the drinks are cheap :)
Located across from my daughter's house this dive bar is awesome! Â The day started nice an early tailgating then we thought let's walk over to the palace and watch the game. Â When we arrived they had a nice bouncer at the door who graciously smiled at me and said welcome, come on in. Â Thanks, ha ha no ID, guess not! Â Old, smoky, and the smell oh my well it was unforgettable.
This place has character, local older guy's bellied up at the large bar. Â Oh my the smoke in here was intense. Â I was so glad that we found a place at the bar near the open door to the outside patio where the wind was blowing so the smoke was a bit more tolerable.
Cheap, cheap beer, um Natty is what most drink here. Â We hung out here for about three hours as our crowd got larger and larger. Â Saki bombs were had by some, ran into some old friends which was great to see.
The locals are funny, some look like grizzly Adams or well maybe werewolves! Â Heck, this is a true good ole Southern local dive bar with cheap beer and the bartenders are super friendly. Â Dart boards, pool tables, yeah I think I saw some. Â It was a long day filled with a great time.
No line dancing but a good time for sure!
