  As a bar thus place is comfy and fun and serves food from the Veranda restaurant even once it closes. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate Karaoke on a Monday night. I think when all the work hates Mondays, this place is doing it's part to shift the opinion. I'm here during Spring Break and the place, although not crowded, is pleasantly patronized by a mature crowd who seem to know what they want.  Carmen and Martina were working the nights I have been here and both times they were on their game with ready smiles and willingness to suggest items I might like. Their banter and customer connection made me feel a part of something and that is nice when you travel alone on business.  
  I did not feel like this place could be called a night club, but I was not here on a weekend at all. It is possible that Friday and Saturday nights are jumping. I would return to find out. There is jazz night on Wednesdays and that brings in a crowd that is different than Mondays. It's all good though.
