Tapestry Bar At the Breakers

Having drinks at Breakers was a highlight.  Yes, we paid $40 for two old fashions (they were strong enough to be doubles) but they did validate the $20 parking fee and the atmosphere is like having drinks at a fine museum.  Staff was polite.  Could not get them to gossip about Rush or Donald, but they were sweet about me trying to get them to!  :)   I came away with the clear impression that the novel is correct.  The rich are very different from you and I.  But it was fun to see how they live!  I would definitely recommend a visit.

I did laugh at Attire as dressy...I'm top shelf compared in my jeans. Also this drink is stiff! my poor sauced body

Old Chicago elegance. Beautiful historical tapestry hence the name. Fantastic wine list.
