We were vacationing on Singer Island and decided to give this place a shot for dinner on a weekday night. There wasn't any sort of special event going on given that it was a weekday, but this place does seem to offer a comedy night, karaoke night, etc.

I must admit I was a bit skeptical when we pulled up since the parking lot has seen better days and there was a sign outside advertising some sort of keg party. I wanted to get some dinner, not walk into a frat party. Upon opening the door I was very pleasantly surprised to find no frat party, only a few people drinking at the bar and a few booths taken by less than rowdy customers. We grabbed a booth, that was quite comfy may I add, so that my other half could see the football game that was on TV.

We had menus in our hands within one minute and drinks in just a few minutes more. We both decided upon the reuben sandwich, one with fries and one with tater tots. That's right, I said tater tots, which happen to be my first true love in life. Our food came out of the kitchen in a timely manner and the cook even stopped by our table to ask how the food tasted. That type of service is not something one normally receives at a sports bar. The sandwiches were super tasty, and I think the thousand island dressing may have been homemade as it was super thick and delicious. My beloved tater tots were yummy bites of calorie laden deliciousness, especially considering I dunked them in ranch dressing. Don't you know calories don't count on vacation?

The one and only small downside to the food was the pickles that are served with the sandwiches. I have never experienced anything like them in my life. It is essentially a cucumber that has been brined in salt water, but not vinegar, as they have no hint of acidity whatsoever. Odd indeed.

Overall, we received great service at this place as well as two delicious sandwiches. If I ever get the opportunity to return I definitely will!
