I can't remember when I've had so much fun! My girl friend and I arrived at 8:30 p.m. on a Friday night and with ease found a center seat at the piano. John, the piano man, would begin to play roughly a half hour later. Additional seating consists of club chairs and couches as well as bar stools surrounded by general areas to simply stand, smoke and take in the dark welcoming ambience. The waitstaff are very attentive even if they made an executive decision that I would switch from a vodka and cranberry to a vodka and soda mid-way through the night. The drink prices are very reasonable. It was especially fun to watch the turnover of the eclectic patrons. You have to be a pretty good sport or at the very least not be hung up on breathing clean air because this place takes the meaning of second hand smoke to a new level. Then again I knew what I was getting myself when I entered a cigar lounge. Not being a smoker whatsoever I cannot make a single comment on the cigars. It was the entertainment that kept me glued to my seat. John is a very talented singer and piano player encouraging us to sing along as he banged out a wide variety of familiar tunes. Towards the end of the evening he singled me out for being so attentive and bought me a drink. A real class act. After some liquid courage my friend and I struck up conversations with some of the male patrons which added to the fun. If you're looking for a sophisticated yet fun place to spend an evening you've found the right place.
