51 Supper Club and Lounge

Not too surprised, they are closed. Lost my bet by a few months too. Over priced, over stuffed patrons and bland food have proven again not to be a plan for restaurant success.

Out of business.  Walked by tonite, and all the windows have paper in them. Valet parkers told me they closed a few days ago

We read a article in Broward blog about their new menu. Tried to do a dinner and movie thing, since the movie theater is upstairs.(best theater in the area) The restaurant is very nicely designed, the bar lounge area very comfortable. Service was not too great. Server forgot a drink order and did not apologize.Soup was not hot. The salmon was overcooked with not so fresh shrimp on top and took awhile to get our entrees, even though it was not so busy. Nobody really was wowed about the food. The music was a little intrusive. We almost missed our movie, so we had to skip dessert and coffee. Nice outside bar.
