My wife and I use to come to Coach's at least once sometimes twice a week for about 2 years. Recently, we decided not to go back due to somewhat high prices and poor service. The wings are amazing! but lately seems like they charged for each and every little thing especially the ranch, and some days you can tell when they run low on ranch cause the ranch will be so watered down it hardly stays on the wings. Also, they have what I call ride-alongs (waitress that aren't old enough to serve beer yet). We use to get really good service but lately there little ride-a-long latina looking girl with brown hair keeps bugging the crap out of my wife and I, the last 2 times we've been there. She also has no personality and looks like the grumpy cat. Some days you may have a stressful or bad day at work and just want a good meal and peace, but not with this ride-along, no joke every 2 mins she would come by asking if we needed refills even when we weren't half way thru our drinks. We could see her starring at us and every sip we took, next thing you know here she came! We would probably still go maybe once of month if it wasn't for the annoying lil ride-along waitress.
Review Source:We used to come here every Wednesday for Wing Wednesday after work. Ate wings, drank IPA on tap, & stayed until they closed. Many a drunken time has been had in the smoking section. The wings are pretty great. Â They nixed their unlimited wings for $10 and we haven't been back. Â Waitresses and service were always pretty great. Beers were fairly priced but I wouldn't say the beers or food were cheap; just fairly priced. I loved sipping a freshly poured IPA out of a big frosty mug. Then somebody would end up suggesting shots... how did I get home?
Just kidding. Don't drink & drive. I have heard that they have indeed cheaped out, as mentioned by reviewer Eric J. That makes me really sad.
I just love myself some Coaches. It is a great little hole in the wall place to grab some wings and watch the game. ANY game.
I have always had pretty good service in Coaches except during huge sporting events which is understandable.
I used to really dig the fries but they cheaped out and changed a few things... Including the size of their drinks and that is what got me to stop going to Coaches regularly. It was a bummer.
But if you are looking for some fairly cheap super-bowl food, Coaches is the stop.
Last night I went to Coach's to watch the UFC PPV, got there about 6pm with the PPV starting at 7PM and yikes!!!!!, no seating. Â I had to go watch the PPV in the smoking section witch wasn't bad. Â Great crowd there, wings were awesome, and the beer was good. Â If you want to watch a PPV there, make sure you get there early, or you wont have a seat. Â Prices for the food are very reasonable and the service is fast, even with a big crowd. Â If you want the environment, or want to go there so you don't have to pay for the PPV your self, go to Coach's. Â Like our former Governor said in a movie, "ALL BE BACK".
Review Source:Food is amazing, anything with the buffalo sauce is outstanding! The service is great, tip them well. They are friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere is fantastic, just cool people coming to hang out and have a drink. They don't have any posted hours, they just go by foot traffic, so some nights they could do last call at 11:00pm and some nights it could be 1:45am. Just depends. This is one of my favorite spots in the AV.
Review Source:Showed up here at 11:00pm to have a couple beers... ordered a large draft... no more than 10 minutes later the jukebox was shut off and all the TVs were turned off... asked the bartender how much time I had to at least finish my one beer... she said its fine just making everyone feel the pressure... it was only 11:20pm... never again...
