Very good food. Â Constantine's makes traditional diner food with a top notch taste. Â I ordered clam strips and shocker - they weren't greasy! Â The service was very friendly and genuine. Â The only issue was that it seemed a little dirty. Â The silverware did not seem all the way clean. Â We were also served a basket of bread with a packet of butter that had already been opened and used - yikes!
Review Source:Wonderful, wonderful place. Â Great eats at fair prices.
My family and I, of several generations, have been eating here for decades. Â Family lives nearby, and my kids always ask for it by name (and dish!).
My family goes ape for the Chicken Francaise - a Wednesday dinner special. Â You can ask for it other nights, they will do it if they can. Â They also do a Sole (fish) Francaise.
Chicken Valdostana isn't a common menu item, but it is on the menu here and my go-to dish.
I've tried pretty much everything else over the years, and never been disappointed.
A bit dated but that is part of its charm. Booths and tables give it a somewhat crowded feeling but it is bright and the staff is wonderful. The prices are certainly good as evidenced by the much older patrons there at lunch. Food it very good. We both had the Moussaka which was very good but based on the other reviews I was expecting better. The chowder was thick and tasty however. Will try them again.
Review Source:A wonderful spot with great food and a great atmosphere. Â There is truly a sense of family at Constantine's, and you can tell by the cuisine. Â A great combination of Greek and American dishes have made this spot one of Woodbury's most well-known restaurants, and it's easy to see why. Â Be sure to try the moussaka! Â Hard to find this dish in most Greek-owned establishments, and Constantine's take on it is excellent. Â Definitely worth checking out!
