County Trail Liquors & Pub

This place is almost like a completely different bar.  Brian and Claire, the new owners, have done a great job so far remodeling the place and making it look tons nicer than before.  It really seems like business is picking up, and people are really enjoying it there.  Anyone who has ever had a bad experience in this place in past years, needs to come on up and give the new owners a chance to show them how things have totally turned around in a extremely positive way.  Prices are still on the lower side compared to alot of places, and it's really nice to have an owner who really cares about the place and his customers.

OK...come on..who doesn't like going to hole-in-the wall bars? It's cheap, usually close to home, and the people are fun..OK maybe not all of them..but most you can get a kick out of!
I agree with Johnny A. about a few things on the place, but I have never heard about the whole stabbing and murder thing....but it's still fun! Honestly, the only fight I've ever seen here was one of my girlfriends smacking a dude across the face for getting fresh with her. So yes, scumbags do dwell here, but you almost have to expect that..just keep your distance. Other than that! John the bartender is AWESOME. He makes great drinks and shots, and he's such a nice guy.
Karaoke is on Thursdays and Saturday nights..and it is a lot fun..I don't sing, but listening to the other people try can be entertaining! :)
So, if you live in the area and your looking for something cheap and close, then you should give the place a try..it's not as horrible as some of the people have made it out to be. TRUST ME! Cheers! :)

The place is called LIQUORS & PUB. By that name alone you can tell two things 1) it is going to be a dive and 2) the people there are probably going to be regular, blue collar folk. You can't go to IHOP and expect High Tea. With that being said, I can tell you what you can expect.

A group of ours came to watch Jeff do his karaoke gig. We always like to come out and support him, so this was a great opportunity because although the bar was full, most people came to drink and/or be social with others. The majority of them didn't sing, so that gave us hardcore karaoke-ers the chance to get about 4 songs in. How many places do you know where that happens? There aren't many. You're typically lucky to get one or two.

We saw our share of skeazy people, but as mature adults we were able to keep our distance and only had one or two unwanted people come over to us in a four hour span. Were we happy about that? Not exactly, but they were harmless and you know full well going into one of these places that this is just how it is.
