Seriously rude people that only cater to the locals. As an outsider just passing through, this place would never survive a competitive town. Accurately defined as a drive thru I would recommend just driving right thru as you wont be missing a thing. Well that is unless your hosting a KKK gathering and this place may be just right. If this comment conjures up thoughts of the honey boo boo's favorite place then I have made my point clear. Â Poor service, poor quality food, and small servings are hallmarks for this eatery. Yes this is a real review of a very unfortunate experience.
Review Source:Creme Hut is an old gas station converted into a little cafe. They serve salads and sandwiches, but not just deli sandwiches. They've got burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, hot dogs. And of course, fries and onion rings.
I went for the chicken teriyaki sandwich with fries. (They also have a chicken teriyaki salad.) Two juicy chicken fillets with just a hint of teriyaki to them mixed with lettuce, tomato, mayo. grilled onions in between two buns. I would have liked a little more teriyaki flavor, but it was still pretty good. Fries were fries. The food doesn't seem like anything special, but it's a decent lunch.
NOTE: THEY TAKE CASH ONLY! It's a local mom & pop shop, so I guess that makes sense. But they are pretty friendly there. The woman in charge knows her regulars and treats them like family. I was only in the area for a business trip, so from the outside looking in, it's cool to see the camaraderie in a small town.
