One of my friends suggested I try this place for some more authentic Mexican food. Â I'm not sure exactly how to describe the parking situation: I pulled around to the back and parked beside a dumpster and an abandoned mattress. Â The rest of the parking appeared to belong to an apartment complex. Â
Yes, Espinoza's is pretty authentic. Â So much so that the people who work there speak little to no English. Â I really wish I had brought a dictionary...or someone who speaks Spanish. Â I ordered the quesadillas rellenas without rice, which is what I typically order at other places. Â I tried to ask if the chicken were shredded, but I had no idea how to communicate that and was met with a blank stare. Â (Forget the dictionary. Â I need the Rosetta Stone.) Â
The chicken wasn't shredded. Â I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had ordered something else. Â Still, the guacamole was really fresh, and the tortillas were toasted to perfection. Â If I can find a parking space, I'll definitely go back and try something else.
