This place isn't as bad as some of the reviews make it out to be. Â I've been eating here for 12+ years and I've never had a bad meal. Â It's not the best food I've ever eaten but it is good and the prices aren't bad either. Â The waitstaff has always been polite and courteous. Â This is a good place to get a quick bite to eat without breaking your wallet.
Review Source:This place would be a perfect candidate for the Food Network show "Restaurant Impossible". Â These people just do not care.
DH and I were looking forward to a good old fashioned big Southern breakfast. Â Boy, what a let down. Â We would have been better off finding an IHOP or the McDonald drive-thru.
Down Home cookin.
Found this place while heading out to the Shenandoah valley along Route 64 while getting gas.
The place is totally low key- it is a very old style home-town restaurant with just about anything you could want on the menu with prices that are so low you almost can't believe it.
Three of us ordered lunch with drinks and the whole thing came out to less than $18, and we waddled out of there completely full. Â the food was much better than what the prices would lead you to expect.
The decor- well lets just say it is "dated" and leave it at that. Â Nothing really matches but that is the charm of the place.
The help is incredible in that Southern way.
Huge parking area around the building.
