I went there for a child's birthday and impressed with the smoke-free environment. The food was average, the staff good, and just a all-around fun neighborhood bowling alley. I scored a three because there is nothing there to make it "stellar" and/or unique. A bar is connected to the lanes, but it's a separate operation making it that more family friendly. The bowling and food prices seemed reasonable to me. The couple of TV by the score boards are a nice touch. I was able to catch some of the Rams game during the party.
These musings refer to the bowling alley/snack bar and not the bar.
Best "Bowling Alley Burger" in town. Â You can get a double cheese burger (with or without bacon yum!), with the onions, lettuce, tomato and pickle all on the side, and a side of fries and a beer for under 10 bucks. Go on Monday, the waitress is a sweetheart, there isn't a league right now and there's no Kareoke so it's pretty peaceful for a bowling alley.
Review Source:Nice little bowling alley with quite the little sports bar inside. Â This place is always having random theme nights in their bar...for example, the Elvis Karaoke Night which is pending. Â Aside from that awesome little fact, I must point out the drinks are cheap...I mean, I know all bowling alleys can brag about their cheap drinks and pitchers of beer, but there are exceptions...thankfully, Crest Bowl is not one of them.
The lanes are plentiful here and I've never had a problem getting a lane. Â If you are nervous, call ahead and save a lane, they will be more than happy to do so for you. Â It seems like the league night is always changing, so probably best to check the website to make sure you aren't impeding on any of the league time (<a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.crestbowl.com&s=64413d1e8ded0ccd91a98482e8458728eb4187a7393fee318da5d3cf01d1046d" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.crestbowl.com</a>) or again, call ahead. Â I have never had a problem hitting a league if I got there after 9 PM though. Â
Also, this place is clean and has all those weird television graphics we have all come to know and love. Â The pins splitting in half, the balls dancing when you get a strike...no worries, Crest Bowl has them all.
