I hope that this review reaches the intended audience! This particular establishment at this address is now referred to as Eli's Sports Bar & Grill! (When logging on to write my review, I searched for "Eli's Bar and Grill" and there is a location - but it's in Hamilton. I was tipped off to Crossroads because upon reviewing my credit card statement, I saw that my purchases made here were charged by "Crossroads")

I went with a friend on a recent Monday. Located on a corner of a strip mall, it was really easy to find - very near Kings Island! Once you walk in, it was quite dark - lights were on, but blinds were drawn - possibly trying to keep the heat out? There is a sign above the cash register that says "Order Here." We stood around for a couple minutes before a girl came to the cash register and stood there, staring at us. Maybe not the best way to approach customers - especially ones who had never been there before. Of course she didn't know that, but a simple "hello" goes a long way! We told her we were new and needed to see a menu. She handed us a couple and told us we could sit wherever. The front part of the restaurant is a dining area with boots and tables and the back part holds the bar with plenty of seating around it and near it.
Monday is "All You Can Eat" wing day for $10.99 - which is definitely something to keep in mind for the boyfriend! I ordered 6 wings and a basket of pretzel jalapeno poppers. My friend ordered a burger and waffle fries. We did have to go back up to the cash register to order - everything is basically self-serve. There was a bar near the cash register that held straws, napkins, ketchup, sugar, salt, etc. You received a cup at the register when you ordered and helped yourself to the machine near the condiments. It was honestly a pretty cool set-up once we were familiar.
Our food was brought out pretty quickly! Some of the best wings I've ever had! HUGE - juicy, flavorful, and very crispy! The ranch dressing that I requested on the side tasted like homemade. The pretzel jalapeno poppers were just that - jalapenos and cream cheese wrapped in a pretzel that was deep fried. Very unhealthy, but very delicious! Served with a spicy honey mustard for dipping. My friend's burger literally took up half the plate. It was enormous! They put so many waffle fries on the plate that she had to unearth the burger!
Burger, fries, wings, poppers, and two drinks was about $24. More than expected, but not horrible. They had a $2 pint special going, so I took advantage of that. They also had a $4 mixed drink special that she took advantage of.
We arrived around 4pm. There were nearly 20 people in there at that time. Ended up hanging out, talking and drinking until around 6:30. The place was nearly packed by that time and, as we were leaving, a group of guys who were part of a fantasy sports league were coming in. Definitely check Eli's out for their events!!
I'll be back!
