This place has one of the best craft beer selections on tap in the area; they even have Southern Tier Mocha Stout out of NY. Awesome.
The food could be better, but it's pretty good. We're fans of the half-price sushi and beer at happy hour, but in general, the sushi should be better prepared for the price they're asking, even for Seaside. Half-price would be more appropriate for the regular price of their regular sushi rolls, as the fish is always fresh but the rice is usually overcooked, mushy, and lacking the characteristic taste of rice vinegar. The service has been on and off. In the times we have been, we wished they were friendlier and more attentive, and we have always had to apologize a little to any out-of-town guests that we bring for the bad service. The waiters should also be a little more knowledgable on the types of beers they're serving.
The outdoor seating is great, and they have heaters in the winter time.
This could be the best place to get sushi on 30a, but if it weren't for the atmosphere, Publix' sushi might have them beat. Here's hoping they improve the sushi as this place could be a great asset to the area.
