The good:
- Bloody Mary: get it. it's the BEST. has some awesome ingredients, including pickled string beans and caper berries. perfect amount of spice and liquor, at a great price ($5 or $6)
- Mashed Potatoes: I wish the girls I went with told me just to order those. man were they amazzzzzing. too bad my stuffed eggplant ($18 or so) didn't come with any. but the entree itself was tasty as well
The bad:
- Noise: so loud it's hard to talk to each other. Also, a few of the employees constantly yell "coming through!" even when carrying nothing and with nobody in their way. it's loud, obnoxious and unnecessary.
- Service: this has to be one of the easier places to serve at. they have a tiny menu that barely every changes, and everyone orders the same thing. but our waiter was hard to find and, worst of all, didn't ask us if we wanted dessert. we didn't even ask for the check and he dumped it on the table. and guess what...we wanted dessert! super super super annoying for a not-so-cheap restaurant. if we wait an hour or more for our table, at least give us an hour to eat! the kicker was they had fixed gratuity for a group of 5, whom they squeezed at a 4-seater table. LAME
The Red Bar is an amazing local bar, be prepared to wait at least a couple of hours. Put your name in and walk across the street to the neat shops. Live music which is very nice. Bar area is standing room only. Food was average, but well done atmosphere makes up for the food in comparison to the food in the area it ranked a little above average. Parking is limited if your with friends come in one car if possible. Enjoyed and will visit any time I'll in the area.
