Authentic Italian food.  Generous portions.  Excellent service, with an air of efficiency.  A tad crowded, but not too loud.  When I mentioned to the owner (he had stopped by our table towards the end of our meal) that I couldn't decide whether to order what I had ordered vs. the Eggplant Parmesan, he went to the kitchen and brought me a portion of the Eggplant to have for lunch the next day!! No charge of course.  I don't think I have ever experienced that before!

This is a great place.   There were 5 of us who at there last night, including kids-the service from Noah was excellent and the owner visible the whole night.       The food was also great-spaghetti and meatballs, chicken saltimbucca and sea bass prepared with rock salt.     We are from Atlanta and consider ourselves foodies.   This is one of the better restaurants I have eaten at.

When we first walked in around 6pm there were lots of empty tables and the hostess asked if we had a reservation. It was a little off putting and I felt like perhaps this was another one of those pretentious places that acts like they are gourmet but really deliver Olive Garden style food. Luckily, I was very wrong.

We were seated, well attended by the waiter and several people who came by to check on us during the course of the meal. The service really is excellent.
Let me say first, the food was delicious. I was not expecting much, considering that this is Lake Oconee, but it really was. I got the Butternut Squash Ravioli special (made in house, 16$) with sage butter cream sauce. So incredibly delicious and a large portion (I would've liked a little less of the cream sauce all over it, but it was still delicious). My husband got the smoked salmon penne pasta (18$) and absolutely devoured it. The salmon was quality and everything was full of flavor. Our friend ordered the Mediterranean Bronzini cooked in rock salt and filleted tableside (28$).
I tried a little bit of everything and was really pleased.
After we ordered we noticed that the restaurant was filling up fast and they even had live music which was great. Hence the reservations I guess!
Also, our waiter brought us a free tiramisu as first time guests! It was delicious.

A few things I wish would be different:
    1. The menus are too large and look  a little cheap. If you want to set yourself apart as a quality, classy establishment, why not get nicer and easier to use menus? At least printed on half the size that they are now would be better.

    2. The prices. For our food, I felt like the prices were reasonable, but charging 18$ for Spaghetti Bolognese? Thats a little much. Even most of the antipasti were overpriced. I wouldve loved to try the Osso Bucco but at $30 I was deterred (I probably would've paid 20 or even 25$). I recognize that this is an area where the affluent vacation, but even those with money do not appreciate being price gouged.

Overall a good experience and since we don't drink and didnt get appetizers (bread and salad are included in your meal), we paid under 40$ for two of us. However if we had not known about the specials Im not sure how happy I would've been paying almost 20$ for spaghetti bolognese that I can make at home for $5.

This Lake Oconee area restaurant is a GEM! It is owned and closely-managed by Corrado Corrias--a Sardinian native who spent several years working at the nearby Ritz Carlton Lodge. His attention to detail, customer-service orientation and creative culinary talents are showcased here with sensational results. The staff is friendly, the food is exceptional and if you are lucky, you might be serenaded by one of the singing waitresses--Megan or Jasmine. Dining here is an experience that should be on everyone's "bucket list." Kick back, enjoy and allow yourself to be transported to a true Italian ristorante!

Went to da corridor tonight for dinner.  We had lasagna, chicken parmigiana and another pasta dish.  Food was wonderful, price reasonable.  Owner stopped by to ask how everything was.  Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting this area

Amazing! Every bite was perfect...from the appetizer to dessert.  Try the risotto balls. Everything tasted fresh and cooked to order. The owner communicated regularly with the tables to be sure everyone was having a great experience.  Our first visit was for our 20th anniversary and it lived up to the occasion. It won't be our last visit.

Can't say enough great things about this restaurant.  Owned and operated by a genuine Italian from Sardinia, the food is perfection.  My favorites include the seasonal pumpkin ravioli and the lasagna (personally recommended by Corrado, himself).  This place can get packed, so make sure to call ahead for a reservation!! Don't get upset when you have to wait, it is well worth it!!!
