The Dancing Cat Saloon

A fabulous find. Delicious food. The chef came out to discuss the Fire Beef dish my husband had ordered. He told us how a neighbor had brought in peppers from their garden and what a difference it made in the sauce. He was so proud of the dish as he should have been. Full of flavor with just a hint of heat, the meat incredibly tender. The ravioli stuffed with spinach and ricotta was perfectly Al dente in a vodka sauce made with the peace vodka distiller on the premises. Again each flavor was delicious and spot on!  The salad was divine with wonderfully fresh and tasty vegetables. Sweet carrots and delicious greens. All of the dressings are homemade, the blue cheese gas fantastic. Great and friendly service and live music. We will return!

I had the Fire Beef. What Flavor!!!!  My wife had the Ravioli. Same comment!  The Beers were Great. Music was Great!  Peace Vodka a must. I'm really lost for words here. Chef came out & talked with us. Shared with us the peppers a local patron gave him for the sauce used in the Fire Beef. My only concern is. Will he keep giving him those PEPPERS they grew. If not I'm sure he will find some just as good. We will be back. It's only about a 1.5 hour motorcycle ride from house.

We made reservations for a table of 8 including my 5 year old son for 1 pm on a Sunday.  When we got there, nothing was ready and they were completely unprepared.  Took 10 minutes to get any attention from our waitress so we sat there with no menus or anything.  When she finally came, it took even more time to get water on the table.  The owner noticed and went to address the slow service but nothing really changed.  At 2 pm we had not gotten our food and the waitress assured us that it was coming out.  10 minutes later we asked to speak to the manager but instead got the head chef who assured  and said our food was coming in 2 minutes.  5 minutes later he came out again apologizing and promising the food would be out in 3 minutes.  A very clueless young woman was wandering around with wings with no sauce asking if it was for us then walked away.  Then the chef came out and threw a small plate of calamari that we had ordered for the table out with no plates for anyone.  The manager was no where to be found and we were very angry at this point having been there for 1 1/2 hours with no food while everyone else seemed to be eating.  We demanded my sons fries which took almost another 5 minutes and left. The waitress was in the kitchen yelling at the staff and the head chef was very rude with to us  at this point saying "I said I was sorry, what else do you want?" The owner/manager was out in the parking lot flirting with bikers.  The prices were high for the area and the type of food but the fries were quite tasty.  Will NEVER go back.
