Props to this place for being open the day after the blizzard "Snowpocalypse" of 2010. Â I have to admit that I was a bit thrown off by the name of this establishment - "The Wet Noodle" to me sounds like it should be serving Chinese food instead of Italian.
I didn't have time to really study the menu, but from my brief survey of the counter this place reminds me of the pizza joints that occupied the same storefront over the past decade and seemed typical of what you'd find at any upstate NY pizza restaurant.
I ordered a half cheese/half meatball pie and a chicken parmesan roll. Â Both were pretty tasty - the crust was thin, yet still packed a nice, crisp bite. Â Most notable was the lack of oily grease that sometimes accumulates on the pizza surface or soaks through the card board box - very impressive.
