  Breakfast sandwich ..sausage/egg on a biscuit is delicious. I get it most every time. Service is prompt. Best in the area.

  I have a home on a lake in the area and have eaten at the Deer Crossing many times.  They usually make a decent breakfast sandwich........ I brought some friends there yesterday telling them how good the egg & cheese on a croissant was - so we ordered two with an order of pancakes and three coffees.  When the sandwiches came out of the kitchen, we noticed that there was an awful lot of MOLD on the croissants.  It is a little scary when we notice mold and the kitchen, presumably in a better lighting situation, does not see it.  I asked the waitress to take everything back as we were going to eat elsewhere....... they had the audacity to charge me $4.78 for three coffees!  I would not recommend this restaurant.
