I'm not a big gambler but wanted to see this track and went with friends. The grounds are beautiful and there are lots of food and beverage stands, and plenty of betting windows all over the track.
We ate at a bar/grill before the race and the service was very friendly and not rushed (probably because it wasn't crowded yet). The waitress even game us a couple of betting tips, one of which actually paid off!
It was a fun day of entertainment that really wasn't that expensive, since I don't bet big, and it was fun to see the beautiful horses on display in the paddock.
The day we were there, they gave away free fleece jackets....nice souvenir!!
