The Den

Not a bad spot, conveniently located right near campus in the shopping center on the corner of Sessom and N. LBJ. Beer prices were alright, but nothing special, $3.50/bottle of Shiner Bock.

The place was pretty dead, only one older couple screaming at the Long Horn game being played over the large projector system. They had plenty of games in the back of the place but we chose to watch the game and wait for our Zen's order to be completed.

Not a bad place, I would probably go back if I wanted to go somewhere in close proximity to my apartment. I don't think they have to stuff make me a regular but I'll give em' another go sometime soon, wouldn't want to miss a possible diamond in the rough!

It's weird living in Austin and coming to a place where they still allow smoking inside. Was joining a friend who was meeting friends and once you get used to it, it's not so bad. *cough*

The bar tenders were friendly and the drinks were reasonably priced for a post-HH stop.

Here's the deal about the juke box. You have to ask them to turn down "the other" music and turn up the juke box where you've put your money; otherwise, you'll miss your great music and opportunity to dance to the Bon Jovi you carefully selected.

Small space, but lots of room to move around. Darts, shuffleboard, pool and large TVs make for an even better experience.
