Best sushi I've had...maybe ever?
I've eaten at potentially 20 sushi restaurants in the last 2 months (addicted much?) and Domo had some of the best sushi I've ever had. The fish was fresh, the rice was speckled with delightful sesame seeds (makes such a difference), and the seaweed was the perfect texture (I'm a weirdo but I find a lot of seaweed to be tough and chewy).
The atmosphere was casual and low key. This is by no means a fancy joint and I wasn't psyched by the decor or ambience...but I will DEFINITELY come here again soon - and you should too:)
TERRIBLE! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Â Service was extremely slow! Â We were there over 2 hours! Â Appetizers were totally bland and unseasoned. Â No taste at all to them. Â Sushi was gooey, slimy and undercooked. Â Had to ask twice for one refill and they brought me a can soda. Â Then they brought us the totally wrong check. Â Don't believe the other reviews. Â This place blows!!! Â It was so bad we almost walked out. Â I paid, but left no tip, and I'm usually a VERY heavy tipper. Â Save your money. Â Try somewhere else!
Review Source:I am by no means a sushi expert, but this was a delightful experience. I had the lobster tempura rolls with extra mango. Fresh and crisply presented.
After considering a few of the happy reviews on Yelp, I ate at the sushi bar and had a nice talk with one of the chefs, Robert. The liquor store next door provided me with a fitting beer. I was surprised with how great the food was.
Only major complaint: the green tea ice cream was a bit too cold, it wasn't easy to get scoop the spoon through it (disappointing).
Some of these strip mall japanese/sushi places are hidden gems....this is one of them.
The service is much better than most. Â Friendly, attentive, professional, authentic.
The quality of the sashimi is top class. Â
Its BYOB but there's a liquor store right next store with nice selection of chilled wines at low price.
This is a fantastic restaurant!!!  The fish is ALWAYS fresh, and the chef's presentation is very important to him.  He puts a very nice twist on 'spicy' - not that orange mayonnaise that most restaurants do.  The Spicy Lovers Roll is a MUST - it is SO FANTASTIC!  The restaurant is also very clean, and the service is  very good - the waiters are very attentive.
Great miso soups, very fresh salads, and so much on the menu that is all just so fresh and fantastic. Â The Korean cooked foods are also just spectacular
I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!
Service was good. I didn't have sushi, both my aunt & I are big fan of  Shrimp tempura so we both had that. It was amazing. They created a Tempura-teepee with the shrimp and the veggies. It was really cute. A lot cuter on the inside than you'd expect from a shopping center. My aunt requested all Sweet Potato for the veggies, and unlike other places they didn't charge. For dessert I had the Green Tea Ice Cream. I wish they could do half Red Bean and half Green Tea because I feel like Two/Three scoops of the same is too much for one person. But very good overall. I'll definitely be back.
Review Source:sushi was subpar and the special rolls weren't good at all. The fish wasn't really fresh in my opinion. Even when they made the rolls, they didn't form them properly. Maybe it was a off night but most great places are great b/c they are consistent. I would not go back unless its under new management/ownership or if someone I know with a good palate recommends the place.
