The best burgers, Philly, and Mac and cheese in town.

Came here to watch Game 2 of the NBA Finals, yes I know this review is kind of late... I had several drinks and had their breakfast burger. The burger was good! Very juicy and full of the unhealthy stuff so it tastes amazing! (I would recommend getting another burger if grease bothers you, because it was greasy and amazing.) I sat at the bar so I didn't really get waiter service, but the bartender was wonderful in helping out what to choose and what to get.

Not anything special, a good place to drink and watch some sports. I think this might be a default place to go to if I want to see any sports that I want to see. A good amount of TVs and drinks as well as food sounds like a fun time to me!

I like it.   So, I had to "Buffalo Chicken Salad w/ Blue Cheese" and it was really good.  About a dollar overpriced, but that's ok - I took that dollar out on the innocent waitress.  So, we're even.   Just kidding, kinda.

The food is good ... service seems to be good.  Good portions.  Friggen TON of TV's to watch , yea - for me when my guest keep going on and on about his addiction to pain pills - i'm like, dude, just get UR @$$ in church and stop them pain pills!   Anyways, I digress.   I wasn't really paying attention to what he was saying, I was watching those HUGE TV's!  yeah!

I like this place... you'll see me there ...

First and last visit to this restaurant. Food was not good. Spinach dip,  fries and wings were oversalted to the point of being inedible. I understand this is done to increase sales of beer but I was drinking iced tea. Also the Teriaki sauce was terrible and had a chemical taste.

Fries are extra and when charging $8.99 for a sandwich,  a few fries could be thrown on the plate.

Waitress was friendly and service was good however as we were leaving the manager was holding the door open and was not interested in my telling him about the food being to salty. He probably did not even hear me as he was looking at the very tall blond walking in from the parking lot.

Great place to catch the game. Each Table comes equipped with a box so you can hear the games. Good beer selection. Nachos come in a metal dog dish, which was novel. Great sports bar.

This is an OK sports bar. It's a bit unorthodox, but still serves good food. I had an egg and bacon sandwich with fried pickles. I enjoyed my meal. It is very loud, but tolerable.

My boyfriend and I really enjoy Double Dogs. We love the fun atmosphere and the food. Large TVs everywhere! Great for the sports fans...I couldn't count the many times we've been. They have the best chili cheese fries and fried pickles ever. Wings are pretty tasty also. I've had the buffalo burger a couple of times also and really like it. So why didn't I give this place more stars?
    1) The service is usually...weird. It's not awful, but we've not once had a server that's been friendly. The last one we had didn't crack a smile the whole 2.5 hours we were there (watching a football game). She wasn't rude, just not friendly. And it seems like it's like that every time we go.
    2) They charge you for extras, like if you want extra onions on your salad. Or extra dressing for your salad or wings. .75 per extra anything you order...and they don't tell you, they just put it on your bill. I've learned my lesson a time or two now.
    3) They don't get the UFC fights when it's on PPV. Sounds stupid but my boyfriend loves UFC and this would really be a great place for it. They should try popping in on Buffalo Wild Wings on UFC night and see the place is standing room only and maybe they'd reconsider :)

Interesting food and great seating. Garage doors that open up to the outside. Finally something in or near Knoxville that feels like a pub. They are a new restaurant and they are still working out some kinks, but overall great place!!

Double Dogs is a great sports bar and restaurant!
I have been two times and the wings were so good I had them both times.  The beer comes in a big frosty mug and they have a decent selection on draft.
They service is also great.  Both times the manager came by and even took care of refilling our drinks....even though they were still half full.
I can't wait to go here during football season to watch a game!

Went here recently for the first time. Beers are good but I wasn't super impressed by the food. I had a bison burger which was pretty good, but the pasta salad I got with it was "meh". My dad got their pizza which he said was terrible. To their credit they took it off the bill (it was the first time I've ever seen my dad complain about food). My mom got the hot dog which was ok but not as good as she was expecting given their reputation. The retarded thing is that they don't allow you to bring your dog to the outdoor patio. So I guess the dog theme is pretty hollow. Would be good place to get beers and watch a game but I probably won't go there for dinner again.

I am visiting from Omaha, NE.  Went to the restaurant last night with my son-in-law.  Excellent hamburgers; great selection of COLD beers and very good service.  I highly recommend Double Dogs for good casual dining.

This place has a creepy barking doghouse outside the door. It's also serves food in huge dog bowls. We get it guys...."Double Dogs."

The first time I went here I got the lunch special. A decent size burger and fries for only about $4.50. You really can't beat that. The burger was prepared well, and comes with a special sauce that I got on the side. I'm glad I did because the sauce was pretty gross.

I got wings the next time I went, half of the regular hot, and the other half the spice notch above. I enjoyed the regular hot, but I must say the spicier option was not much hotter and almost more bland. The wings altogether were okay (although weak on the spicy side) and came with fries.

Don't wander out your way to eat here, but if you're in the area it's a viable lunch or happy hour option.

We are there two-weeks ago.  The hot dog was ok, fries were greasy, and hamburger was tasteless and greasy.  The beer was fine.

Ok the hype is over and this place is calming down now.  Beer is great, food is ok.  I like the shrimp, wings are not hot enough though.  Outside seating is fun unless you sit by the dog house that barks when people walk by.  This a beer joint with food and not a food joint with beer.  War eagle
