It re-opened. Below this is my first yelp account which i can't access cause yelp is gay.
either way, this is regarding the $5.99 lunch. the lunch appears to give a shitload of food but my fatass needed to order 2 of them. what else should i say?
the food is bar food, nothing special. It tasted old and basically needed ranch, ketchup and hot sauce to devour.
I must say, the staff is friendly, courteous and nice. the food was just whack. Maybe i'll try it again.
The crowd here is very rowdy; fowl language and fights are not uncommon so I would not recommend bringing your kids here. The place has established itself as a "Raider bar" and has lights and sirens every time raiders score so if you are wearing another team jersey be prepared to fend for yourself because the owners will not attempt to control their rowdy customers. In addition, do not expect customer service. The owners will literally kick you out if they are unhappy with your business which is subject to their own discretion.

Watched the Lakers lose to Dallas here. First time and one of the regulars brought me here. This place was great in all accounts except for the damn PA trying to sell shit while the game is going on... I enjoyed this place a lot. Has a grip of tv's.

Overall
This place is kick ass for a group to chill in. wouldn't recommend family stuff since it can be dodger/raider-like in there which is perfecto for me.
Pros
Decent pizza, it ain't vinny's. Chicken wings were pretty damn good. it seemed baked not so much fried

the mexicans, depending though cause most of em are chill, just the 2 or 3 cholo groups who clash that fuck everything up.
i love DP's the pizza is very good, and cheesy! they have alot of beers on tab which is like disneyland to me :) Â , the place is loaded with t.v's, they have pool, beer pong,,pretty cool. this is a joint where u can just come in grab a slice, a mug of beer and chill! and to ppl who come in here (jess from whittier) expecting to find a 5 star elegant pizza parlor with e'ffn Beethoven playing on the speakers,,dont come n here!! theres no room for small minded miserable ppl!!
Review Source:My friends and I like to frequent this place, its a really fun atmosphere to just hang out and relax. Â The food is really good, we love the pizza (great crust) and they have a LOT of beers to choose from. Â They also have great specials like all you can eat $5 Spaghetti on Wednesdays and $.50 wings on Thursdays. Â
It sometimes can get crowded when big families or little league teams come in, but generally its not too bad. Â Nice place just to chill. Â If you like pool or beer pong they have have that too, but we never play.
The fact that this place has been here for years and there are no other reviews should you give some idea of the people who frequent here.
I hesitate to call it a restaurant because any restaurant wouldn't practically give their food away with a pitcher of beer.
This place is basically a grown up chuck-e-cheese, pizza, beer, pool, darts, air hockey.
Upside, they have probably 50 beers on tap. Downside, unless you're drinking Budweiser, Miller or Coors, the awesome beers are likely stale. (We ordered Hard Cider and Hoegaarden...both stale tasting).
We did not order pizza because we had no reassurance that it would be anything better than the frozen variety, and probably tasted more like cafeteria (at least that's what the place smelled like).
If you've got a few rugrats, want a beer and need to kill some time, this might be your place.
We just moved in the area and this place looked cool with all the TV's on the wall. Â The Pizza is pretty damn good! It's a bit pricey but it's quality ingredients and their desserts are amazing! The have for dessert over 40 different beers on tap!! That plus about 40 TV's and pool table and some dart machines makes this place pretty damn cool! Domestic Pitchers are only $9! The carry a large selection of micro brews and imports for beer snobs like myself! All in all its worth checking out and making it a party!
