Vinatero Wine Shop

It was my fruit fly, Anna's Birthday and I've heard her talk about Vinatero a thousand times, so I was happy to hear she was celebrating her Bday there. Located in downtown Whittier, I really like this space. The wine selection doesn't seem very big, but they do have a variety to choose from. I think the highlight is definitely the tasting bar and lounge in the back. You can tell it's mostly locals, but I really liked the vibe and the people seemed to be really friendly. I met the owners and they welcomed me with open arms. I felt like part of the family. I can definitely see myself coming back again if I'm in the area.

Yeah, some of their wines are a tad bit more than you'd pay at other stores, but I'm always an advocate for shopping local and supporting your small businesses! If that means paying a few more bucks for something, I really don't mind. Plus, I believe you can sample a wide range of their wines at the tasting bar too. *****

came here to pick up a bottle of wine before heading to a birthday party. thought they would have more sections, but this place has some decent ones. i'm more of a Cab person. wished they had more to chose from.

We were there with group of friends, did some wine tasting, like the food there pair with wine. Will go back other day.
