Falak Hookah Lounge

Hookah was fine. Music SUCKED. (Some DJ was spinning on a Friday night - playing rap from, like, 2004 and his transitions were crap). A bunch of youngans working in this place. They'd rather play on their iPhones than actually help you.

This place is a little hidden to begin with. Pretty cheap and good, the staff is helpful but it takes a while for them to get back at you and this was on a Wednesday!

Okay, let me start by saying the hookah here really is some of the best hookah I've had in Southern California.  Ask for grape/pomegranate and you won't regret it.

What I'm mad about, though, is the fact that I bought the Yelp deal while I was there, and the dumb waitress girl screwed it up.  I guess she redeemed it on my phone, but she didn't put it on my tab and then when they tried to put the code in again it said it had already been redeemed.  I told them can I just have a discount of $8 and they said no, after I pulled the code up and showed them my online bank statement showing $12 had just come out of my acct for Yelp that same day.  They were going to make me come back like a week later (???) to speak to the owner, and it was only $12 and I wasn't trying to go through all that hassle.

The workers are dumb high schoolers it seems like, and the people that patronize the place on weekends seem like kids that are too young to go to bars so they end up faded at Falak.

Oh, and some idiot kid invariably carries the hookah to the pool tables and breaks the hookah and htere's drama.

But seriously, guys...no joke when I say this place's hookah is legit.
