  $2 beer, ANY BEER....need we say more!
  
  Great place, location, and bartenders. Can get crowded as night winds down but excellent place to catch up with buddies. Smoking is allowed but they have a decent ventilation. Best thing (besides $2 beer): 21+ unlike most places DT McAllen.

  Apparently this place is semi-new, located directly across UTPA. Since I live around the corner I've found myself there on 3 or 4 occasions. There's nothing really special about this place, and it's kinda small, but there are 5 decently-sized TV's for sports, and great drink specials every day that they are open. I don't think I've ever paid more than 3 bucks for a beer, and I was completely sold when I got a 32 oz Newcastle draft for 4 bucks! There's not really anywhere I can go on a Saturday that I'll find a 2 or 3 dollar beer, so for that, I'll keep returning!
  
  Gets kinda packed on weekends, and tends to get chimney-like as the night wears on, but the ambiance could be worse, and I've never had any problems while I'm there. I enjoy the familiarity.
