Dundee Cork and Bottle

Dundee Cork and Bottle is one of my favorites. Everyone is so friendly including patrons and staff!!

I don't live in Omaha anymore but I come home frequently just so I can sip down a refreshing moscow mule at Cork & Bottle.

Wish this place existed in Chicago.

Cork and bottle is always packed, which is actually the best part.  Dundee is a great part of Omaha with great people, but this bar just doesn't fit.  Drinks are watered down and overpriced, the wine especially tastes what I imagine cat piss would taste like and worst of all the employees (but mostly the owners) are rude and abrasive.  When I asked for a drink I half expected the bartender to spit in my face.

If you're in dundee check out the ol dundee, page turners, the dell, or the underwood.  Even beer and loathing up the street beats this place...at least when you go there you know when you're about to get punched in the face by a roided up beef house.  At cork and bottle I feel like i'm always at risk of getting a corkscrew in the back when I least expect it.  

But in all seriousness I can safely say I'll never go back to cork and bottle, and if you've never been...well...trust me it's not worth it.
