  I can't believe that anyone had a good experience here, as it was one of the worst dining experiences I ever had when I went in February.  The boy said, "Oh, let's eat at the Earl of Sandwich.  If he calls himself the Earl, he MUST be good at making sandwiches."  Nope!  He was terrible at it actually!  Not only was the food pretty bad, but the place was SO dirty that I didn't even want to touch the table.  I had to use the bathroom before we left and what a mistake that was - the place seemed to be teeming with germs.  It was an awful experience overall.  Anyways, I just went up to Lincoln this weekend and I actually think that the Earl of Sandwich might have closed.  I didn't see it on the main street, and where I remembered it to be, there was a new establishment (a cafe of some sort).  If I am mistaken though, and the place still exists, stay far away.

  I am SHOCKED that no one has reviewed this yet.  It's located on a main road, right off the 93 freeway and there's no way you could miss it if you're headed towards Loon Mountain, which is the reason why 90% of traffic gets off here to begin with.  Earl's has some of the best food I've ever had.  I came here all the time growing up and used to order grilled cheese, fries, steak and cheese subs, etc. and recently returned as a 24-year-old food snob, ordered the veggie burger with fries and I was absolutely blown away.
  
  If you're headed up the 93 to Waterville or Loon, go here!!
