El Azteca

Not a bad cheap mexican place.  We stopped on the way through town and had a good time.  The couple next to us was in their 60s and was on a first date so that was entertaining to listen in on.

I got the chicken soft tacos and they were slow cooked but didn't taste anything like mexican.  A little more seasoning would have been preferred.  They also charge extra for sour cream which is a major downfall for a mexican place in my mind.

Overall, not a bad meal for the price but service was great and atmosphere was nice.

If I could give this place NO stars I would. Horrible service and food. Waitstaff is rude.  Don't bother with this restaurant.  Go to El Toreo instead. We went in on a Friday night which is their karaoke night, we have been here on Friday before, normally it is not that loud this evening it was horrible... Ear splitting loud. How they expect people to digest food in that environment is beyond me. When I asked if they could turn the music down they said no and told us we could leave if we didn't like it... We left.  The waitress chased after me into the parking lot yelling. Horrifying.

It's okay. Could be a lot cleaner. Walking in there are cigarette butts & trash ALL OVER the place and inside - well - I had to wipe down the seat cushion before sitting in the booth. Chips aren't as fresh as other places but the salsa is good and the service... eh. The margaritas are decent and my burrito was pretty good. My table mates taco did look to be on the greasy side.
