El Coyote

This place used to be great, a couple of years ago.  At the time it was known mostly by us locals and had high quality food (with one exception) at the best prices for Mexican in the Huntsville area.  The one exception is their salsa, which is by far the worst I've ever had.  It has the consistency of thick tomato juice, somewhat sour, is a blended mash with no chunks and no onions, peppers and cilantro - essential ingredients for a salsa.  This place used to have the best fajitas (fajitas Jalisco) in town, but the fajitas jalisco has been removed from the new menu.  A year or two ago, they went to a more expensive and more limited menu, and it seems the food quality has deteriorated too.  Disappointing now compared to what it used to be.

This restaurant is super!  I've never had a bad meal here.  Atmosphere is great and the waiters are SUPER nice.  Full lunch and dinner menu.
