El Meson De Fuentes

My boyfriend and I went here and we both got terrible food poisoning. The margaritas were not good at all either. The place looks nice from the outside,but the food just did not taste good whatsoever. The service however was wonderful, but we will never go there again or recommend this place to anyone.

Reading the NEGATIVE reviews here makes me wonder if the reviewers work for a competing restaurant. I have been going to the restaurant for the entire time they have been opened, (about a year.) True they didn't have a liqour license for a few months when they first opened, but they have been serving great drinks for quite some time now. (That was for the alcoholic reviewer.)  
As for the 99 cent margarita reviewer, I'm sorry but for 99 cents I doubt they are using Patron. Be a real man next time and order a cerveza. That way when you are watching BRIDESMAIDS, (ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WAS PIPPI LONGSTOCKING OUT OF STOCK AT THE VIDEO STORE?), you can look like less of of douche. Food poisoning? ARE YOU JOKING? I've eaten here at least once a week and have never gotten anything bad other than FAT here.
For the reviewer that wished for Taco Bell or Chi-Chi's, the Old El Paso singing cowboy from the commercial is waiting in your panty...OOOPS PANTRY for you.
The service here is always top notch and the food is the best Mexican food that I have found in NE OHIO. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad meal here. Great chips and salsa. Good food. Large Portions AND COLD CERVEZA!
This all makes for a perfect fiesta in my life.

My family and I decided on this restaurant last Friday. Mostly because it was Friday and every other restaurant was super crowded. I don't know why i thought we should stop at the Mexican restaurant with the empty parking lot.
    When we pulled in an employee walked out, my husband and i figured she was coming to tell us the restaurant was closed, but she was just taking a smoke break.. i mean lollipop break. it looked like a cig but my hubs told me it was a sucker...she just stared at us and didnt say anything so we assumed it was open and walked in.
    the waitress who seated us was very nice.. the atmosphere seemed like a family restaurant. the chips and salsa were decent..i ordered the chicken and beef burritos with the side of rice and a strawberry Margarita .. when my drink came out it was huge but it was obviously a mix and it wasnt very cold so i could barely drink it.. my chicken burrito was okay..  the beef burrito was much worse than any taco meat that I've ever made at home.. much worse.. the rice was okay but then i noticed what seemed to be canned peas and carrots mixed in.. my husband got the enchiladas with mole sauce with steak on the side and rice.. he ate his. but said he would much rather spend less money and go to chipotle.. the steak was also just okay..
      so we left the restaurant and i felt nauseous for the rest of the night.. this was the worst Mexican food that I've ever eaten.  its too bad because our server was so nice and i really wanted to like this place.
