In town for a couple days for business, we asked several people for recommendations on where to eat. Â Every single one suggested this place as their first choice. Â We had eaten at another Mexican restaurant the night before, but thought we should try El Nopal for lunch since everyone mentioned it. Â And it seemed that Mexican was the best chance at decent food in Seymour. Â Lunch was good - quick service, cheap lunch specials, no issues making my combo meatless. Â I'm sure I will be back if I end up in Seymour again.
Review Source:El Nopal is pretty good. I agree with the other reviewers that it is CLEAN, like whoa. It's a typical, family owned Mexican restaurant. They have the same things on their menu as any other Mexican place. I got the veggie quesadilla and the thing weighed about 25 pounds, plate excluded. Definitely good for sharing!
Review Source:We tried out this new Mexican restaurant a few times. The food is good, the wait staff is very nice. Lots of room and nicely decorated. A good variety on the menu, the kitchen has it back out to you pretty fast. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable. It is easy to find, on the main street on the east side of town.
