If you are on your way to or from Primm NV you must stop here. A little café in the middle of nowhere. Read the history of the town is quit interesting and the town it powered solar. Now for the food hand made burgers and fresh cut fries (yes not frozen food). Bring cash for the café or hit up the ATM.
Review Source:Great food, made fresh. I had the carne asada burrito and it was quite nice. I'll be back to try some other dishes next time I'm passing through. If you're standing in Searchlight or Primm deciding which fast food joint to suffer through, but you'll be passing through Nipton when the Oasis Cafe is open...just hang in there and go here instead!! Â (5 out of 5 stars because it's definitely "the best thing going" in this area)
Review Source:If you are reading this there is a good chance that you are sitting next to the railroad tracks either waiting for the train to move or deciding whether to stop at this tiny outpost in the desert. You should really go in. The family that has taken over the running of the restaurant are doing a great job, the mexican food is fantastic (mexican/american but still) the salsa is fresh and the the service is impeccable.
Why 4 stars not 5? The decor is atrocious though I understand that these people are way out in the middle of nowhere and I'm glad they are putting the money into the food and not wasted on more crap to put on the walls. Also the soft drinks are in cans served with a glass with ice. One good thing about this is that you can go in the store, buy a beer and bring it back over.
Cash only but there is an atm in the adjoining store.
