A well deserved 4 stars and almost 5. This is as close as it gets to being as good as El Charro's in Harrisonburg.
i had the Grande Quesedillo and it was grande and incredible. Just loved it. The salsa also rivaled El Charro's.
yes, all Mexican restaurants only compare to Charro's, but this one is a winner that I strongly recommend.
Thanks to Yelp, we found this place while visiting the area. Â It's Tex-Mex, but good. Â Lots of just right, not to spicy salsa with chips. Â They gave our party of 5 two bowls of chips and salsa and refilled when we ran out. Â Everything here is inexpensive. I've spent more almost on Taco Bell with far better food at El Puerto. Â Five of us ate for less than $60, including soda and tea. Â HUGE portions and just plain old tasty. Â We will be back when in the area.
Review Source:Simply amazing. We have an abundance of Mexican restaurants in the Shenandoah Valley, and this one is my absolute favorite. The salsa is the best hands down in the valley, and the chicken fajitas are incredible. If your in Waynesboro, or even as far away as Harrisonburg, its definitely worth the drive.
Review Source:We ate here after a long day of driving/hiking through Shenandoah. It was an easy drive from out hotel, and we were in need of a margarita or two. This place has a nice large selection. I got a cheese enchilada off the a la carte section of the menu to go with my combination fajitas, and it was exactly what you'd expect, which isn't necessarily a bad thing when you've had a long day and just want something tasty.
