This is a great little pub to stop into for a break from shopping downtown. They serve local beers, which is what drew us there in the first place, and they have a nice patio deck upstairs. It looks like they only have 4 local beers on draft at any given time but they have a nice selection from light to dark. It looks like this place might be pretty happening at night, but it was very enjoyable during the day as well.
The patio has bench seating with tables and umbrellas as well as seating right up against the patio railing for some great people watching! It looks like they also serve food here, but we did not eat anything. Probably just your average bar menu- the kitchen was teeny!
I have spent a fair amount of time in Crested Butte and can't believe it took me this long to try this place! I loved everything about my experience.
The bar is located above a local business and has a great patio that offers a nice view of the town. There isn't a ton of outdoor seating but there is plenty inside. My fiance and I Â visited around 1 o'clock on a Sunday and the atmosphere was so relaxing and exactly what I want on a Sunday afternoon.
They offer a burger special: $10 for a burger, fries, and a draft beer. The burger was great and I ate all fries even though I'm not usually a french fry person. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable about the beer choices, which I look for in a brewery.
Do yourself a favor and order one of their beers instead of your typical go-to. I say this for every brewery. I don't see the point in going to great local brewpub and ordering a Coors or PBR. It just doesn't make sense! I had the Wildfire ESB and it was a good choice for the cooler weather and a great pairing for the food.
I can't wait to come back and try this place on a weekend night!
