Elephant Bar Restaurant

Sweet potato casserole is yummy. My ribs, were tough and dry. It was an ok experience. I've been here before and really enjoyed the food and drinks. The Korean tacos are good and I would get them again. My husbands salad was good.
Our server Jessica was great. Very attentive and seemed genuine. She wasn't at all over the top crazy bubbly but really down to earth nice. Good job Jessica. Next time ill sit in your section and order something different?

Just got back from dinner at the #Elephant-bar on Stevens creek. What a disappointment. We used to eat there all the time and enjoyed the food. Don't get me wrong, I am willing to pay good money for food. I'm not bashful at a $100.00 bill, but today, blah. We had two drinks each, my wife 2 martinis me 2 black and tans. That is the good stuff. We both ordered the tri tip with bacon covered green beans and mashed potatoes. The dessert was strawberry shortcake with ice cream. Nothing was terrible but it was just not right. The Tri tip was "fake", it was a bit rubbery???? the potatoes seemed like powdered mash with a sprinkle of those fried French onions on them. The green beans were like frozen green beans out of the bag then flash steamed, and not much bacon bits on them. Kind of firm but not snappy.  Oh as an appetizer we had the seared ahi tuna which usually we enjoy but today it was just flat. Our service was sub par. It took forever to get our order for drinks and food taken and when we finally ordered the main course was on the table in 1 minute but the appetizer took forever, yes that is backward but that is the way we got it. And our server was nice but just not attentive. So just because we received service we gave the server a $10 tip, 10%. usually we will tip more but it actually should have been less.
Any way, that will be the last time we will visit elephant bar.

okay so its a chin, but its a good one. they hve 2 happy hours so this is awesome! they have food and drinks on their happy hr list (see photos). im a fan of the korean tacos, tempura salmon rolls and soup (combo only avail at lunch now booooo). i loove looove their white sangria, as for no ice tho cause they put a crap load in and the glasses are small. :)
