One really cannot expect any real nightlife in a city with a population of around 20000ish.  But if you're staying at the YO Resort, this chill saloon style bar is a pleasant way to the end the evening:

$1.75 Bud Light Drafts...and thats a regular price, not a happy hour price!

Free delicious, meaty, fatty cheeseburger sliders during the late afternoon weekdays...I ate four. These aren't your typical California size sliders...everything is bigger in Texas.

Live music on Friday and Saturday nights

The head bartender Steven is very friendly, but if you're from California you might find the regular local drunk named Dale quite creepy. His comment to me will forever be etched in my memory: "Whoa! Huh Huh Huh! Yer a chinaman but yooo shoore do talk English lots bedda than me!"

Its no wonder why George W was elected twice! Shesh! :)
