Been here a couple of times and had great pizzas. Â Quality ingredients, nice texture to crusts, and nicely seasoned (e.g., fresh garlic). Â They also offer GLUTEN-FREE pizzas which are outstanding. Â (We have 3 celiacs in our family so we are very familiar with the variety of gluten-free pizza offerings in the world.)
The owner is very friendly and is really committed to having gluten-free offerings. Â You don't make it for 25 years in this place without offering a great product. Â Â Elvio's is now on our regular rotation for our visits to Lincoln.
This place is hands-down the best pizza place anywhere near loon Mountain. Their calzones are amazing. The white pizza with their ricotta cheese is to die for. They even have a gluten-free pizza for me it tastes great my boyfriend and I need hear every time we come to Loon and they never cease to amaze us!!!
Review Source:My girlfriend and I were looking for some good pizza while in Lincoln, NH and after looking at reviews of several pizza places there, we went with Elvios'. EXACTLY what we were looking for that night. The pizza was done from scratch in front of us. The crust was just right. Not too saucy, not undercooked. Just right. We ordered a 12" cheese pizza with some fries and we wanted another one after we finished that one. The fries were "amazing" according to my girlfriend and I have to admit, they really were. The staff was super friendly and enjoying what they do there. Really enjoyed the food and their service.
Stop by for great pizza if you're in Lincoln or anywhere near the Loon mountain.
Nice little pizza place. A bit of a wait for food but no real complaints. The place was clean and the staff were friendly. Got a large pizza and small order of breadsticks. There were more breadsticks than we thought there would be and it comes with a large serving of marinara sauce on the side. Would eat here again!
Review Source:This place is probably the best pizza in Lincoln. Â They make you order from the counter and then bring your food out to your table. Â The lady behind the counter is very nice and has good suggestions. Â We ordered the veggie pizza, veggie sub, and eggplant fries. Â Unfortunately we ate there to late and they had run out of the eggplant fries. Â I guess towards the end of the day they run out of this item. Â The veggies sub was great....lots of flavor. Â The pizza was very thin and pretty light. Â The fresh baked cookies are soft and yummy! Â Very laid back atmosphere. Â I definitely will continue to hit this place up every time I drive up to Lincoln.
Review Source:Holy mackerel!! Best Pizza EVER.
Boyfriend got the Meat-Lovers pizza - OMG delicious doesn't even do it justice!! It was soooooooooooooooo good!! Crispy thin crust, with just the right amount of sauce and loads of meaty goodness to top it off!
I got Becky's Calzone - if I could eat this at least once a week, I would be that much happier. It was chock full (as it states) of mozzarella, pepperoni, and fresh chopped garlic. Seriously? These people must have read my mind! The calzone came out just the way I like it - not burnt, just lightly browned with a cup of marinara on the side. If I could have, I would have finished the whole thing, but it was super filling. All for $6.99 - completely worth it!
It helps that the staff tries to make you feel like one of the family, they banter with you, but it's all in fun. They were great!! If you're in Lincoln, you really need to stop on by and try their pizza or calzone. YUM!!
Elvios Pizza is the best pizza I've had in New England, hands down.
The crust is thin and crispy, the sauce is delicious, and they never mess up an order!
Every bit gets better.. I literally could eat it every day and not get sick of it.
Their pizza is awesome and if your looking for a great sandwich the italian and the italian veggie are AMAZING !! BEST SPOT in Lincoln!
My go-to spot in Lincoln. Â Best pizza around, and really good sweet potato fries. Â I've tried the grilled paninis a few times as well, and the Chicken/Pesto/Bacon/Mozzarella and Smoked Turkey/Red Pepper/Garlic/Tomato/Swiss combination are pretty good too.
Don't expect a fine-dining experience though, the inside is fresh outta the 90's -- think what your local Pizza Hut looked like 15 years or so ago. Â But hey, it doesn't bother me, or any of my friends or family for that matter. Â
Also, word to the wise: pay in cash if you're getting your order delivered. Â Elvio's outsources their delivery to a "third party" which caused me to get double charged on my most recent order. Â The girl who delivered it was pretty unfriendly and wouldn't leave without charging me again. Â Whatever, it happens, I get it. Â I called the manager the next morning (who seemed like a pretty good guy) and got it straightened out right away in a timely manner. Â Since I've had at least ten or so good experiences here, I'll give that one a pass, but it's definitely worth noting.
Good food for the whole family. Like a home cooked meal. Can buy pizza by the slice. We had calzone, eggplant parmesan sub, kids grilled cheese (one of the best we've had), kids spaghetti and meatball, and cheese pizza. All good.
Would have been great if all food came out at same time, but it came out as it came out of oven ... so it was nice and hot.
I can only rate the pizza as we've tried nothing else on the menu.  In summary, bland.  Nice crust topped with a tasteless sauce.  They really need to kick up the pizza sauce flavor, big time.  Had a good laugh while waiting for our Pizza this past summer - man answering phone at front counter exclaimed:"I don't know what a  margherita pizza? We do cheese pizza's here".  Might explain the lack of flavor here.
Review Source:Great pizza, hospitable staff and friendly atmosphere. Â Nothing fancy for sure but my daughter got to sleep in the booth, no one cared, and the rest of my family had an inexpensive dinner after a great day of skiing. Â Perfect amount of sauce, cheese and toppings. Â I loved the pineapple pizza! Good fries too.
Review Source:I've been going to Elvios for years. Every summer and winter as a kid growing up, we would head up to Loon for a week and enjoy the great outdoors. Besides maybe mini golf, Elvios was always the highlight of the trip. We would always get a few pizzas throughout the week, and then buy a few to bring home. I took my girlfriend her last week after a scenic tour on the Kang, and this is still the great place I remember.
Review Source:After a long day hiking the Kinsman peaks and Cannon Mountain, I was craving carbs, greens, and something sweet to drink. Â I decided, based on Yelp's reviews, to try out Elvio's -- lots of great reviews, after all.
My experience was... hit and miss.
The staff is quite friendly and helpful, providing excellent and prompt service. Â You order at the front desk just as you walk in the door, and you can either pick up at the side counter or (if you're eating in) have them bring the food out to you.
Their prices are pleasantly affordable -- a pasta dish, side salad, and drink came to less than $10, as I recall.
Unfortunately, I was less than impressed with the caliber of their food. Â I ordered the rigatoni with marinara sauce, with a side salad from their salad bar. Â Pretty much everything at the salad bar was wilted or stale, and the salad bar itself did not appear to be refrigerated -- not ideal in the extreme heat and humidity that we've seen this summer. Â The rigatoni was overcooked and soggy, and the marinara sauce was some of the blandest I've ever had. Â I didn't bother to finish it. Â In all, the best part of the meal was the garlic bread.
I can't complain about the soda, but hey, it came from a fountain dispenser. Â Kind of hard to screw that up.
I may go back here to try their meals again -- particularly since their pizza seems so well-regarded -- but overall my first impression wasn't positive.
I was very pleasantly surprised at how good Elvio's was! We got take-out pizza here when we arrived for a weekend, and I wasn't expecting too much, thinking it'd be mediocre to better than mediocre pizzeria pizza. However, our pepperoni mushroom was amazing! They do a thin crispy crust, but not like Domino's thin crust. It was still doughy, just rolled out very thin and they use plenty of cornmeal for the bottom so it added a great crunch. The toppings tasted very fresh. I only wish I had gotten a large instead of a medium... If you're in the area, I highly recommend Elvio's!
Review Source:The star attraction at this Lincoln pizza shop is their Sicilian-Style pizza. Â It's getting more difficult to find this style of pizza and Elvio's knows what they are doing. Â Their version is thick and doughy with just the right amount of crispness. Â The sauce is good and the proportion of cheese is spot on. Â If you manage to come in when one of these pies is coming out of the oven you will be over the moon. Â Surprisingly, they only make a few of these per day and when they run they run out. Â They do not make more. Â While I've had their standard pizza it's not nearly as good as their Sicilian-Style. Â That being stated, Elvio's is several stars above the other few pizza shops in town. Â Of that, there is no question.
Review Source:FANTASTIC Â pizza...sauce, crust, cheese...everything...as good as in Italy (almost)
Years ago....they were in a charming little house on Main Street...when the fantastic smell of their pizza not only permeated the entire woodframe building...but even outside on the porch as one approached...now...they've expanded (not sure why...I've never seen the place more than 20% full) to a large...very cheap looking place...fake "brick", gumball machines, etc) but the pizza is still fabulous...a "must" if in the charming town of Lincoln.
Stopped in today for a couple slices of cheese. I opted for the 2 slice and fountain drink for just under $6 which is a decent deal. I scoped out the salad bar and decided to pass because it appeared 'meh' as best.
In a nutshell the slices were good thin crust pizza, but the sauce left something to be desired.
I wish Yelp would allow half stars, because IMO Elvio's deserves 3-1/2 stars, but not quite four stars so I rounded down.
I must admit that my Elvio's experience was boosted in large part by the fact that I, and all of those in my party, were ravenously hungry after a day hiking in the Whites.
Regardless, it was good pizza. They nailed the crust/sauce/cheese/topping ratio. The crust was crispy on the outside, but had a chewy interior. The sauce was delicate, and the cheese was flavorful. The toppings were great. The meat lovers was covered in a cornucopia of smokey and salty goodness.
All in all, it was reasonably priced and in a good atmosphere - a pizza place that hearkens back to the places I used to go after tee-ball as a kid.
Fantastic Pizza. I'm not at all an expert in New York style Pizza, but this is probably the best Pizza in Northern New England.
The dough was slightly crisp and blackened in a delicious way, while still completely foldable. The sauce was delicious and simple.
Way better than so called New York pizza's we have here in Miami.
I was in NH for a mini vacation with my wife. We saw this place right up the street from where we were staying(literally a 5 minute walk). Their food is amazing. Everything from scratch, so it did take a little longer for a pizza than it would around here, but the wait was so worth it. We got the fried ravioli's and a pepper and sausage pizza, everything was sooo good. The staff was kind and courteous(even in between seasons). Can't wait till we come again.
Review Source:A few years ago I found myself up in Lincoln on a photography trip. Â I was staying n town, and finished my work right around dinner time. Â I had been to an Elvio's Pizzeria before, but not this particular one. Â I remembered enjoying the other one I went to very much, so i hoped this one would be just as good.
I did not get pizza, but I had some excellent toasted raviolis and a really good meatball sub.  The woman at the counter was very friendly and  a pleasure to talk to.  The prices are very reasonable, and the food quality is great.
While I did not eat in the shop, the cheerful red checkered tables, and video game machines brought back memories of what these places were like when I was a child. Â I will definitely come back next time I'm in Lincoln.
I make it a point to stop at Elvio's every time I'm in the mountains. I have searched long and hard in Boston, NYC, and beyond for a place that makes a Sicilian-style pie as well as Elvio's, but nobody has come close. It's all in the dough - thick and fluffy but perfectly crisp on the bottom. It's not too greasy and the toppings are piled high. Perfect. Go.
Review Source:I have never ever had a bad pizza from these guys. No matter how long I am up in Lincoln I stop in here. I have even got take out at night after having gone out to a restaurant. If gas was not so pricey and my car a gas guzzler I would go for lunch more than I do.
From the menu you can see they have every thing a pizza place would have, but I stick to there pizza (I am a purist). My companions did however get subs and they were so big these guys even had a hard time trying to pick them up. So the helpings are substantial to say the least.
The help is friendly and patient, seeing it is a huge vacation area. They also have ample seating for large gatherings. The salad bar did not look to bad either. And I am no lettuce lover.
So after a long or short stay on the mountains you must stop here. Loon Mountain is just up the road.
